How to enlarge your B&W photos

Bet you noticed those great historical photos on display in the windows in downtown Milledgeville, we love it and thought we would let you in on the secret on how they were done. You would assume that blowing up photos that large would be quite costly--think again.  By using "blueprint" copies you can achieve this project very economically.  Inspired by several blogs who shared this technique--the Main Street folks made these giant blueprint copies to decorate the windows of this empty store front and share these historic photos of downtown Milledgeville with all of us. Staples in Macon is the closest place we have found to get this done but the price will make the drive well worth it.  Try it for yourself and send us some photos when you do and we'll share them here--how fun!

Happy Mother's Day!

All the vendors at OCT are wishing all the mom's out there a very Happy Mother's Day! We'll be closed tomorrow to spend time with our families--but be sure to stop by this week to shop for your Vintage and Retro goods--Mom would approve

Lunch Hour Shopping

OCT is a great place to get in a little Lunch Hour shopping. That's what Cathy and Amy were doing today-- and they decided to try on a couple of our vintage hats. Love the look and they enjoyed browsing our unique collection of vintage goods. Something for everyone--come by on your lunch break and see for yourself!

Downtown Milledgeville-- The place to be!

Downtown Milly is definitely the place to be on First Fridays--but we love it every day!  First Friday's provide additional activities to add to the already great mix of shops and restaurants. Here's a few pics from Friday night and if you missed it be sure you make a note for June. Remember the Beach Bash---we hear the Main Street Gang is bringing it back--what a way to kick off your summer. Join us downtown for First Fridays and Every Day--you'll be so glad you did!
